Driving in Tasmania

Well varied. Paved roads unpaved roads and what I would call dirttracl but they call C class roads. I am finding it hard to come to terms with the highway code here on unpaved roads. Some roads are like you get on the forestry commission land in England except they are real roads and the rules apply. So what appears to be a dirt track joining a cinder track is the Bass highway joined by Anson Road. Even if there are no road markings the rules apply.
I tend to think of MACK trucks as particularly big. They are not any bigger than the Volvos GIST has , they are a lot more stylish. All these giants drive the highways at motorways speed on what in England would be A or B roads.
